PhotoCrawl

Your memories belong to you

Privacy policy

PhotoCrawl is a photo-library cleanup game provided by Gregory Lloyd. Here’s how we handle information, in and out of the dungeon.

Effective September 12, 2026

Your photos are processed on your device. We don’t upload your library to our servers or an AI service. You review and confirm deletions. No advertising trackers. No account required.

Your photos stay under your control

PhotoCrawl uses Apple's Photos permission system to access photos, videos, albums, thumbnails, and related information such as asset identifiers, creation dates, dimensions, and video duration. This access lets you choose an album, preview memories, and decide what to keep or delete. You can allow access to selected photos or your library, and change or revoke permission in iOS Settings. Practice mode uses bundled example images and does not require access to your photo library.

PhotoCrawl processes this information on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, album contents, or photo-review decisions to our servers or an AI service. Apple's Photos and iCloud services may download originals or synchronize library changes according to your Apple settings; those services are governed by Apple's policies.

Swiping left places an item in a local review queue. It does not immediately delete the item. Deletion requires a later review action and Apple's system confirmation. Approved changes affect your Photos library and may sync to other devices through iCloud Photos. Recovery, when available, is managed through Apple's Photos app.

Locally saved information

The app stores game progress, scores, equipment, settings, selected album information, reviewed photo identifiers, and queued deletion details in local app storage so your adventure can resume. The app also uses temporary image data for previews. This information is not sent to us automatically. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings.

Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to Apple's backup and restore behavior. Removing the app does not reverse photo deletions you previously confirmed. We do not have a server copy of your game save or photo library to retrieve or erase.

No advertising or tracking

PhotoCrawl does not contain advertising, third-party advertising trackers, or an account-registration system. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. The app does not request access to your contacts, microphone, or precise location.

TestFlight, diagnostics, and voluntary feedback

When you use a TestFlight beta, Apple may collect testing, installation, usage, and crash information and make some of it available to us through App Store Connect. Information handled by Apple is governed by Apple's TestFlight and privacy terms. PhotoCrawl does not include a separate third-party analytics service.

If you send feedback through TestFlight or email us, we receive the information you choose to send, which may include your email address, device details, comments, and screenshots. A screenshot can contain personal photos, so review it before sending. We use feedback to respond to you, troubleshoot problems, and improve the app. We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of feedback we hold, subject to those obligations and Apple's separate retention practices.

Sharing

If you choose an in-app sharing feature, Apple's share sheet sends the content you select to the destination you choose. The destination's own privacy practices apply. PhotoCrawl does not automatically publish your photos or achievements.

Children

PhotoCrawl is a general-audience utility game with fantasy combat and is not designed specifically for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support or feedback, contact us so we can address it.

This website

This promotional website does not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookies. Its hosting provider may process standard request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. Following a TestFlight link takes you to Apple’s service, where Apple’s privacy practices apply. Emailing us shares the information you choose to include.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app or its information practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions or requests, contact Gregory Lloyd at info@kingofnerds.tv.
